Are you ready to shift from conventional to high-performance building practices? Are you a building professional looking to improve operational efficiency that will save you time, money, and energy? The City of Reno is hosting the GPRO Operations & Maintenance Essentials (O&M) training and certification for building operation professionals on September 27-28, 2018.
GPRO is a comprehensive training program created and managed by Urban Green Council that teaches building professionals how to incorporate the principles high performance building into their every day work. GPRO is delivered by select organizations across the country, with over 12,500 trained professionals to date. Not only does GPRO training expand workers’ technical abilities to realize strategies that save energy, money, and other resources – it empowers workers to maintain offices and residences that are safer and healthier for all.
This module is ideal for property managers and building staff in multi-family residential and commercial buildings, including: building superintendents, operators, facility and property managers, operating engineers and stationary engineers.
Students leave class with immediately actionable measures, suited specifically to their scope of work, which aim to improve the health, energy or water efficiency of their building. They will also be able to explain the costs and benefits of those measures in order to ensure successful uptake on the job. This course is free for participants ($350 value), includes light breakfast and lunch, and contributes continuing education credits for AIA and GBCI.
