Fall is just around the corner and the City of Reno has just released its Fall/Winter Parks, Recreation and Community Services activity guide.
The brochure contains information on youth programs, fitness and dance classes, athletics, adaptive programs, a facility and park directory and more!
“There have been numerous studies that show the positive impact walking can have on your health. Recently, the Surgeon General stated people experienced significant health improvements by walking 30 minutes each day. I would like to offer you a challenge – utilize your community parks to walk 30 minutes each day. I hope that you will enjoy the change in the seasons within one of our beautiful parks. Explore the fall colors of the trees, enjoy fishing in the Truckee River, or visit Reno’s newest Park – Cyan Park.” – Andy Bass, Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services
