Artist Gallery Receptions, Thursday July 6, 2017

The City of Reno is proud to present three artist gallery receptions for Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Metro Gallery, Gallery East and Gallery West from 5-7 p.m. All exhibits will be on display from June 26, 2017 – August 11, 2017. Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Metro Gallery Exhibit 

Defining Space through Color and Form:  Francesca Saveri and Hans Siig
City of Reno, City Hall, 1 E. 1st. Street – First Floor
Artist Reception: Thursday, July 6, 2017 5-7 p.m.

Abstract art and colorful painting.

 

Metro Gallery in Reno City Hall hosts sculptor Hans Siig and abstract multimedia artist Francesca Saveri. The combination of Siig’s woodworking and Saveri’s colorful hanging work complements each other beautifully, each expressing their own identities through a sense of geographic space.


 

Gallery West Exhibit

Watercolor Realism: Lisa Jefferson

Gallery West in McKinley Arts & Culture Center hosts watercolor painter Lisa Jefferson. Her paintings are a unique cross between hyperrealism and dreamlike imagery of the natural beauty of the American West Coast.

Abstract Art

 

Gallery East in McKinley Arts & Culture hosts multi-media artist Carole Ann Ricketts. Her work explores personal, cultural, and adaptation challenges of changing land and language, with the use of ceramics, paint, collage, and printmaking.
